Analytical article as an instrument of influence: consultation on Public Policy Papers preparation

On March 1, in the Press Center “Nakipelo”, at the request of a public organization, which proceeded to the consultation line of the Center for Political Analysis “Observatory of Democracy”, experts of the Center provided consultation on the preparation of Public Policy Papers. Representatives of public associations, civil society activists, representatives of the expert community participated in the consultation held in the format of a round table working meeting.

During the consultation, the experts of the Center for Political Analysis “Observatory of Democracy” clarified the applied importance of such an instrument of influence and effective activity for public organizations as an analytical article, and presented developed methodological materials for the preparation of Public Policy Papers. Essential questions on the topic of the consultation, in particular, on the availability of classifier codes for analytical documentation in Ukraine, their compliance with international standards, specific areas of application of analytical materials, ways to find potential customers for analytical products, the difference between the public information tools in the journalistic material and in the text of analytical article were asked by representatives of public organizations: “Yednist Gromadyan” Igor Bovtsailo, “Yedyne Dzherelo” Alexander Minenkov, “Ukrainian students for freedom” Maxim Shirochenkov.
